Street Art Style Figures
This collaborative piece with Sam Morrow merges graffiti and figurative painting, exploring the concept of transparency. Sam created the bold, spray-painted background in a graffiti style, while I used acrylics to paint the figure. My technique involves finger-blending watered-down acrylics to create the illusion of vanishing shapes, allowing the figure to partially fade into the background. Only the brightest whites remain opaque. Inspired by this process, I took it further in this series by painting the figure's bone structure, enhancing the sense of transparency and depth.
